In this role of a Business Analyst, you will be part of the global “Reporting and Analytics” team within Group Investment Management. You will collaborate closely with IT functions and business users across different countries and translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyze interrelationships of business processes, complex data and financial systems, define IT specifications and implement reporting front-end solutions for their global end user base.
As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be:
-Design and develop analytical, regulatory and operational reports using modern reporting and analytics front-end tools
-Conduct client workshops for business requirements analysis and translate business needs into functional and technical solution specifications
-Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions
-Perform impact analysis of application and data source changes, holding an end-to-end view of the system
-Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services and infrastructure
-Provide end-user support/training for global reporting needs
-Ensure compliance, governance and data quality of data and reporting products
-Minimum of 2 / 3 years of relevant work experience as a business analyst for business intelligence solutions.
-Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g. analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
-Basic understanding of financial instruments and financial analysis is an advantage
-Familiarity with ERP system SAP FAM/TRM or FICO is a plus
-Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
-Strong Communication skills in written and spoken English
-Good self-management skills and stress resilience
-Highly organised with good attention to detail
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
-Experience in project management is a plus
-Spanish language skill is a plus.
-Residence in Spain with EU nationality or EU Work Permission.
-Advanced skills for data analytics, query design, data modelling and visualization with reporting front-end tools (MS Power BI, SAP) is key
-Understanding of data-warehouse technologies (like SAP or Microsoft) is a plus
