DESARROLLADOR/A BACKEND C++ (EXP. EN SECTOR VIDEO JUEGOS) – REMOTO

We are helping a Game Developing Studio to recruit C++ BACKEND DEVELOPER (WITH EXPERIENCE IN VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY) Full Remote.

It’s permanent position, hired by the Game Developing Studio, we just help them in the recruitment process. The salary range would be 30.000 – 70.000 euros gross per year depending on the experience
Flexible schedule (you can choose your schedule, 8 hours per day, but from 11.00 to 16.00 is the “core hours”) and the possibility to work full remote.

As Backend Developer, you create, and support backend systems required to successfully launch and operate a live game and connect players so they may interact together. You work closely with designers and other developers, guiding them towards a robust and scalable implementation. You collaborate with peers, and you make sure your work integrates well with the other game ingredients, providing the player with a unique and frictionless experience.

Responsibilities:

-Prototype online game features and concepts in the backend.
-Develop new services and author software design documents.
-Partner with designers to iterate on features and optimize for the player experience.
-Support live features and releases.
-Help create a healthy technical culture that encourages engineers to learn and grow.
-Work closely with their partners and take/give technical feedback.

Required:

-Strong interest in gaming.
-At least, 2 years of experience developing with C++.
-Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. PlayFab, EOS, or other popular BackEnd game services, and with Unreal Engine.
-High level of English is NOT a must, just desirable.
